Kenyon V Clare

So, I am going to dust off this project soon. I started a few years ago doing a reading comparison of these series. This will be a slow effort as I am doing this in my spare time. 

How it will work

I will reread The Mortal Instruments series first; I will catalogue character traits of each major character. Then I will read the Dark-hunters books for the first time and do the same for their major characters. 

Why do it

Because I have heard lots of people including Kenyon claim that Clare ripped the former off. I am the type of person who likes to do my own research and draw my own conclusions from that. So, I shall. 

Where to follow my progress

There will be a static page on this blog, my tumblr, and via goodreads and twitter.  the goodreads/twitter will consist of live updating when I have time for such. The static pages will consist of full character arc comparisons. In addition I will make a series of posts doing lighter character comparisons between the books; these will feature fancasts of similar appearances to each character based upon book descriptions.
