Thoughts and Feelings

I was so glad that Mary decided to run this when she did. It gave me the kick in the butt I needed to study for my tests. Sorry I'm so late with the posting though!

Books and Beverages

Books and Beverages

My favorite drink is without doubt tea. I used to be such a bad caffeine addict that I could get a large triple triple from Tim Horton's and not even get a buzz.

There is a local shop in my area called Teassential which is definitely worth a look. They are set up for online ordering, and their website is very well designed allowing for both browsing and searching by tea type.

Progress Report

Now studying for my Anthropology final on Thursday (6 chapters to go through for terminology, I think)

Favorite Reading Spots

Favorite Reading Spots

Image result for transparent bedMy favorite place to read is most definitely on my bed. Well, when I have a good bed that is. It's cozy and I can be wrapped in my covers.

My next spot is on the couch. Not quite as comfortable as in bed but still good. Still wrapped in covers.

My Favorite Genre

My Favorite Genre

That would have to be historical fiction. I love reading about the past. When I think of travelling the world I think of how the world used to be before cultures became mixed and mashed up. Some countries have preserved and continue to use the same architecture styles and ceremonial dress that they have for hundreds if not thousands of years. And yet, every day it seems there are more and more places that just look like a replica of something from a major city in Canada or the US. I don't begrudge anyone the adoption of modern techniques or of making their countries safer. I just feel I am alive in the wrong century to travel.
