Alec Lightwood

Alec is a brooding, somewhat pretentious snob. He is a shadowhunter and Jace's parabatai. He is also hardcore in love with jace for quite some time. Not that he will admit that to himself or anyone else. He believes that the fate of the world and keeping Jace out of trouble fall squarely on his shoulders.

Alec eventually becomes secure in himself. He also moves on from being in love with the wrong person. There is no direct match from the Dark-Hunter pantheon of characters for Alec.
