Review: You Can't Touch My Hair: And Other Things I Still Have to Explain
Mar 1, 2017
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book was an excellent and warming read. It deals with some very important and real themes. I especially loved the letters to Olivia. I hope she reads them someday. I highly recommend reading this book with an open mind, heart, and a firm spine.
An open mind because you will be confronted with harsh truths. Open heart because this isn't about you. And a firm spine to carry you through to the end. You will be uncomfortable. You should be.
Phoebe Robinson has such a fantastically sarcastic way of writing that helped me to sail through this book in record time. She drew me right in from the first word.
